“The light shines on in darkness.” — John 1:5.

We believe no soul is beyond the reach of God’s grace, power, love and mercy. As disciples of Christ, we follow His command to bring the Word of God to those forgotten by society, including inmates. By taking the light of Christ to those imprisoned in the darkest places, we hope to expose them to the peace and comfort God’s grace will bring to their lives.

Christ Himself underscored the importance of ministering to those in jail when He said, “For I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me; ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.” (Matthew 25:35-36)

We offer services and spiritual counseling to those incarcerated in the Oakland Jail, as well as some state prisons. We try to guide prisoners to the path of righteousness salvation through the comfort of the Word of the Lord.
