Kathleen Bordo Crombie


Kathleen Bordo Crombie is an accomplished Catholic iconographer.  Her icons can be found in several private collections, chapels, and churches, including the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit and The Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy in Clinton Twp., MI.  She writes and speaks about her Catholic faith, religious iconography and prolife issues.  Her chapter (“Holy Neon Signs”) was featured in Teresa Tomeo’s book “Listening for God”, and was a invited speaker for the  2021 “Listening for God” Virtual Conference. Retired after 18 yrs. with Right to Life of Michigan as the Director of Multicultural Outreach and Gift Planning, Kathy served on the board of The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy, and currently a Board of Directors member for the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums – Michigan Chapter, where she is the writer and editor for the “Renovatio” publication. In July 2021, His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke presided over Kathy’s Consecration as a Marian Catechist at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, WI. She is a lector and active member of the Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn, MI.  Kathy and her late husband, Robyn, are the proud parents of two grown sons and four beautiful grandchildren.
